Tacky Christmas Party

My volleyball girls had a tacky Christmas party two floors up from us. So we all threw on the tackiest Christmas attire we could find and headed upstairs. We even had tacky holiday cups to match. It was a lot of fun looking that terrible!

Winter Banquet

AKPsi had its formal banquet two weekends ago and it was a blast! The DJ from Megan's wedding did our music and everyone really liked him (even though they were skeptical). I got Outstanding Member for having the most accumulated points this semester for going to events etc. That means no dues next semester and bragging rights until Spring banquet. Here's some of the better pictures!

We Went Camping By Choice

AKPsi had a chapter retreat to get members and pledges better acquainted. We went camping at Jordan's cabin about an hour outside of Lexington. It was a blast! We played games and grilled out. Then we went to this giant swing they made and watched Fons (the jump-in- the-lake-with-the-flag and the run-across-the-pool- in-a-spiderman-costume guy) jump over the fire repeatedly. Stina had never even been around a bonfire so obviously she got hurt. You're just not supposed to grab the lantern by the glass part! It was an entertaining night. Cold, but a lot of fun!

AKPsi Does Halloween

My frarority had a Halloween dance at the Blue Line Diner. Since everyone thinks Christina and I are the same person, we went as Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the Cat in the Hat book. We now have a joint name that lots of people use--"Christacey." Kinda creepy. I guess our outfit choices were appropriate. There were a lot of good costumes (obviously). Yes, that's a boy dressed as a girl. I think my favorite goes to the 300 men and I think Mom and Erin will agree with me.

Hallo-halloween y'all

We kicked off the Halloween festivities at an ATO date party at Blue Line. My friend Evan was date-less so Stina & I happily volunteered to make him look cool (how many guys get two dates in costume?). We didn't want to reveal our real costumes yet so we went as a nurse and a pirate--and Evan is Easy Mac? So we danced there for a while & moved on to our friend's apartment where Fons (the let's-jump-off-the-houseboat-with-the-flag guy) decided to run across the covered pool. It was an eventful night to say the least.

GameDay

ESPN came to town!! Even though people camped out the night before to make sure they got on tv, we somehow showed up 10 minutes before show time and ended up on the front row of the second section. I told Mom it was because we were ballers but she doesn't seem to think that's a good thing. It was definitely the best part of the day (which is a good thing for the dude in the picture below because he didn't get to see the rest of the day I'm sure)!

LS Who??

So for the first time in 60 years UK beat the #1 team!! It only took three overtimes (haha). We all rushed the field. We ran from the top level and were on the field in less than 5 minutes. I'm surprised I wasn't smashed! We danced on the field and got on each other's shoulders. Then we danced with a bunch of old people outside an RV. Then we were accessories to the burning of a leather chair in the middle of the street. It was obviously a great day!!

Labor Day Weekend

Thanks Mom & Dad for letting us use the houseboat! The boys loved jumping off the roof with the flag and yelling "freedom" & they also loved drinking the antifreeze. Good times. Here's some of the better pictures from the very eventful weekend.

What We Do When We're Bored

Okay first watch the link & then watch my clip for each of these. If you don't do it in that order it's not nearly as funny!

Anything But Clothes Party

Alpha Kappa Psi threw an ABC party. You could wear anything that was not intended to be worn. There were a lot of boxes, towels, and garbage bags. Here's some of my favorite outfits from the night. Stina & I sewed pillow cases into dresses & they ended up looking less like standard pillow cases & more like skanky dresses. But it's whatever!

UK v Loserville

So last night was probably the best game in recorded history. I got to rush the field for the first time. You can see how close we were to the team by the jersey picture (no zoom on that one). I didn't know that you had to jump over a wall to rush the field so I ended up tearing up two of my toenails. It didn't matter so much at the time but it's hurting today. But who cares about that--WE WON!!
